Browning hi power

Ran across a Belgium stainless Hi Power today.Only one I have ever seen. Can any one tell me any info on this Hi power and value.

    Looking at a HI Power at my local gun shop in .40 that has some sort of a nickel finish and has pachmayer grips which look to be factory. When I look HI Powers up in the Blue book for a description it seems that there are two different styles of nickel HI Powers. One refers to them having a gold trigger and the other refers to Walnut grips as well as different finishes. The gun that I am looking at has the made in Belgium stamped on it. Below are the only two that I can find on GB to compare it to. Any thoughts on this?? Thanks in advance.

    Since you say you are not interested in collecting you will be comfortable with the pistol you are looking at because after the refinish and dolling it up with the jeweling the collector interest is now about zero! Back in 1962 FN up dated the GP-35 (call it a High Power if you must) with a number of modifications, the most obvious being a change to a visible extractor. In 1964 this pistol gained the common designation "T-Series" due to a change in FN serialization. The T-Series is perhaps the definitive variation of the pistol: It has the up dated design features but still retains the classic features like the round hammer and stacked serial number. There were three T-Series variations: The standard model with fixed sights, a version with the adjustable tangent rear sight, and the very rare version with the tangent rear sight which has it's grip slotted for the addition of a shoulder stock.
    Here you can see my T-Series at the top and one of my FNs produced in the middle 1950s and get a very good look at the differences in extractors between the two models.

    BUy it [;)] For one in that condition the price is not bad.They are good shooters. I have three left. Have owned about 8-9 over the years.
    Is the mag safety still there [?] They make the trigger pull hard. Some HP smiths can work them over and leave it in, if needed.

    I bought the Hi power in my original post,stopped at the range to shoot a few rounds,could'nt be more pleased with function and accuracy.The price was only a few dollars more than a plastic framed Taurus would cost and in my opinion alot more gun.I plan to keep it so collector value does'nt bother me. Thanks to Mark and dc shooters i really value your opinions,
