Copy of remington nylon 66 broken stock
I picked up a copy of a remington nylon 66 with the stock broken at the wrist. Will a regular nylon 66 stock work? Or will these parts work on a nylon 66? Just thinking of what to do with this pile of parts. Everything is there, even the broken stock.

The Original model 66 was not easy to remove all the parts from the stock . I dont want to throw cold water on your request but #1 even poor condition model 66 stocks are HARD to find for sale and I dont think ANYONE would ever take one of these original and one Clone apart to see if parts interchange just for the FUN OF IT. Find yourself a stock first then see if the parts will fit do this when you have the new stock so it will be fresh in your mind on where and hoe the parts fit in relation with each other . if your parts dont fit the new stock you can sell the new stock on this site and most likely get All if not more of your money back. y 0 -
Some of the parts from an original Nylon 66 and the Taurus clone interchange, some interchange with modification and some aren't close. I have worked on both.
My suggestion is to take it to a QUALIFIED gunsmith. They are a terror if you don't know all of the mouse traps in them. I have 10-12 brought to me in bags, some had parts gone.
