Browning A5 Light Twelve
Neighbor asked me about this Shotgun. Belgium made 2 3/4" 30 inch full with a vented rib. Serial no. G4-6910x. I look up the gun and it was listed as manufactured in 1957 but can't explain the G4 in the serial number. Where their Grades like Grade 1 grade 2 etc.? The wood looks like prem. grade and has gold leaf in the scroll work on both the trigger, action and trigger guard. Any hints on th G4?

Should be 74G,,represents 1974 date/ 0 -
Is the SN pre-fix 4G or G4? If 4G that would be the product code for an A5 Light 12 made in 1964. 0 -
