Please help I.D. this Rifle (.22 semi--tube fed)
I need to purchase a part or two for this rifle...to help me do this, I need to know what make/model it is. Could you please take a look at the attached photos and see if you can help? If more or a different pic would help, please advise...not a problem.
There is no name or serial number on the gun (at least not that I can find).
Thank you very much.
Bob

looks to me to be one of the old NOBEL rifle, can't remember name or model# 0 -
Looks more like a Remington Model 550-1 but I do not understand the lack of a trademark. May never had a serial number if made before GCA 1968. 0 -
Looks like the Remington 550 that has been reblued. Most likely the name and model has been buffed off the barrel. 0 -
Look at the 2nd and 3rd pics, the barrel just in front of the receiver. It's been buffed so badly, there's ripples on the barrel.

It looks exactly like my Rem 550-1 (my -1 has the early ungrooved receiver). 0 -
Either a Remington 550, or 550-1. And has been said, name and model on barrel where it has been ground on. I have 4, they were made before the 1968 GCA, never HAD serial numbers. When in good working order, will shoot shorts, longs or long rifles semi auto. 0 -
