i have this sword i don't know if this is a date thats on the bottom of the handle or model # could anyone tell me if this is from the civil war or a earlyier one. and is there any value to put it on the auction site or is it just a wall hanger thank-you iw348@yahoo.com ON one side of blade it says US below that is P and below that is JN and below that is N.STARR ----THANK-YOU 0 -
