The SMLE is now the No. 1 Mk III.
.22 LR training rifles became No. 2(?...seems odd to me.)
No. 4 is the WWII variant and No. 4 Mk I has notch cut in the bolt head keeper instead of the bolt catch. Sights changed on these as well going from volley sights to flip peep sights.
Kind of funny how the British even keep track of all that...[:D]
