cz 75 bd pricing?
Found one at a local pawn. Listed at $389 talked 'em down to $300 + tax = about $325 out the door, told them I'd be back tomorrow....

Ryan, hello.
You did not state anything about the condition or flesh-out what is involved in your potential deal if involving anything besides the pistol, or not. You state that you can not find any BDs on the auction side to compare.
I found several on the "Completed Auction" section that have sold that you may want to check into a bit. Have no idea how they may compare to the potential deal that you have on the back burner.
Just by what I have seen there and on the "Current Auctions" would seem to indicate it to be generally a very decent deal. (IMVHO) From what I had read, heard and seen, that is a decent and dependable weapon and is usually very reasonably priced. If it is a good piece in your opinion, I would believe it to be priced well.

@ Alan... My apologies, I realized this morning that for some "expert advice" I should have given some more info on condition but getting to work on time was more important...
A couple hardly noticeable little nicks, no scratches or appearance of any real wear on the outside slide or frame, inside is visible it was used but not abused, Hogue grips, the LPA adjustable rear site is kind of worn, probably installed from another one considering the finish of the rest of the gun. As far as used ones that I couldn't find on the auction side I think I must have searched incorrectly, my fault. I found some tonight on there.
I bought it today... $300 for the pistol, 2-16rd and 1-10rd mags, generic "Plano" plastic case. When I talked to them yesterday, they believed (and I quote) "the slide lock spring is broken" (huh?) because you can't engage the slide lock, the slide wouldn't go back far enough. I stripped it down and saw there was a strange little plastic piece behind the recoil spring on the rod. After some google style research last night I found out it's a recoil buffer, when installed incorrectly (backwards) it prevents the slide from going completely to the rear. Just got it home, turned the recoil buffer around... VOILA! I'd feel a little bad for taking advantage but it's a large multi-state string of pawn shops. They're doing just fine and I'm sure even at $300 they probably still made a small profit.0 -

I remember when the CZ75 was only "legendary" in the USA. Imports from Communist-bloc countries were not allowed, but the CZ was being sold all over Europe and well received. Pistoleros in the USA could only read about them and drool.
My friend was stationed in Germany, serving in the Air Force. He was able to buy two CZ75s while there, and he brought them home with him. Since they were hand-carried, there were not ugly importer marks stamped on them. The plan was to keep one and trade one.
When he got home, he took one of his pistols to a rather large local gun store. The dealer's eyes got big when he saw the CZ. He wanted it.
My buddy left the CZ75 and $100 cash in the store, and he walked out with a Smith & Wesson Model 41 and a Smith & Wesson Model 57, both in near-new condition.
He took the remaining CZ to a gunsmith and had the factory paint finish stripped and Parkerized. The factory finish was the only problem with the gun. Looked like it was done by Earl Scheib.0 -
The recoil buffer in on a few different CZs. I have one on my 40P.
Either way, if the gun was in any shape but terrible, it was a great price!0 -

It'd be very difficult not to be happy about that deal. You did very well. You will no doubt be even happier with the performance and dependability of that pistol. Congratulations!

Without a question you did well. New price on those runs around $500. If in good shape that would tend to bring at least $400 if not $450. 0 -
