I use 52.0gr H4350 with the 130gr BP. I do however have more luck with 59.0gr H4831 and 140gr Hornady BTSP. 0 -

I agree with Laylandad, 59gr of H4831SC and a 140gr Nosler Accubond, or 130gr Nosler part. have worked for me for years.
The 59gr H4831 load was devloped by Jack O'Connor, originaly he used magnum primers because the old standard H4831 was a little harder to light than the newer H4831SC. I use Winchester LRP primers with SC powder, and have no problems. The 59gr load has been a standard 270 load for more than 60 years. I thank ol' Jack every time I use it to put venison in the freezer.

Appreciate the info from all. Will do some experimenting and see what my rifle digests the best. Best Regards Terrill. 0 -
58gr H4831 or SC, 130gr nosler balistic tip, LR primer, win brass works well under MOA from a standard hunting rifle for me. has worked in several rifles with the same load. 0 -
I'm working up a load using 57 grains of Reloader 22 with Winchester Large Rifle Primer and Hornady 150 grain SST bullet. 0 -
If you are going to stick with the 130 gr. bullets then 55-56 gr. of H4350 or IMR 4350 is good. If you are going to jump up to the 140/150 gr. bullets then I'd jump up to using H4831SC. Top out on that is about 58 so work up to it.
I helped a friend work up some loads for his .270 he was taking out West for an Elk hunt and he was getting about 2916 fps using 140 ACC's and 1/2 grain under max for the IMR 4831.0 -
130 gr, 49 gr IMR 4064 cci lr primers. Been my deer round for about 5 years now. 0
