    Re-22 is a medium slow powder suited for the larger capacity cases and heavier bullets. The only combination I use with the .30-06 is when I shoot the 220 grain bullets at moderate velocities.

    Examples:

    .300 Win. Mag. with 185 gr. and heavier.

    .240 Weatherby with 105 gr. bullets.

    Extreme opposite:

    22-243 Ackley Improved with 80, 85 and 90 gr. Match VLD bullets.

    I burn a lot of Re-22 and Re-25 during the competition season.

    It is my favorite powder for 130 gr. loads in the .270 Winchester.

    Works great for 6.5x55 with 140 and heavier bullets.
