Enfield no.1 mk3
I have a Enfield no.1 mk3 in 303 dated 1917, it looks unissued and unfired. all numbers match even the mag. It has a round style cocking piece vs. the flat one normally seen on the bolt. It also has a brass butt plate. Can someone please tell me what it is worth?
Thank you

I don't have a camera at this time, this rifle is as-new, can anyone tell me about the round bolt cocking piece? A value would be appreciated, I know photos would help, this rifle is amazing and appears unissed.

I lay no claim to expertise on SMLEs- just have a few I shoot. The round cocking piece seems to be for fairly early rifles- Possibly #1Mk III, not the #1Mk III*. Here are some photos- think "Mathilde" has the cocking piece you mentioned. http://www.smellysmleshooters.net/harmless_little_old_ladies.htm 0 -
I was thinking of asking $500 for it. Too much? Too little? 0 -
