How do you post a picture

Ok I give up how do I put pictures of the gun I would to know more about? Help I can not seem to get it to work.

You need the serivces of a remote hosting site like Photobucket. The auction side will support photos downloaded from your hard drive but the forums will not. The link Bert provided gives the details.

Its not as easy as some forums. If you get stuck there are some experts that you can email shots to and they will put them up for you.

1. You take the digital picture.
2. You upload it to a third-party image hosting website (like photobucket, though there are plenty of others).
3. You link to the picture in your post by surrounding the image link provided by the image hoster with the little HTML "image" tabs:

For example, if you take out the asterisks, this image of a Smith model 19:

[*img*]http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b240/earthtone55/101-0181_IMG.jpg?t=1274980179[*/img*]

Gets posted and looks like this:
