Weaver V9 scope?

Having some issues dialing in good accurate groups with a Weaver V9 scope...
Is there anything odd about the adjustments on these scopes?

  What kind of issues are you having? Is it stringing or patterning like a shotgun?
  Has the mount system been properly aligned, lapped and screws torqued as they should be?

  It sounds like when you adjust the poi isn't moving to where you put it. First thing I would do is a box test and see just exactly how much each click moves the reticle. Start with at least 10 clicks (20 would be better) and do a box test. That is move up, then mover over, then down and back to where you started.
  
  Of course that is after you have checked bases and rings for security.

  Thanks for that just noticed that the loads I bought here thinking were factory. Some appear to be reloads and this could add to the flyer problems...
  Back to square one.
