Looking for info on disassembly and function . The slide will not hold back w/o clip in place which requires the slide to be held back while inserting the clip. Then clip must be disengaged to release the slide. Wrong clip ??? Or.... I picked this up today.

  The pistol you have is very similar to the Hungarian PA 63 military pistol. Since the magazines for the PA 63's are chambered for the 9mm Makarov cartridge, I would obtain one of the PA 63 magazines to try in your pistol to see if it will function correctly.
