Ballistic Plex Reticle or fine Plex

    I would go for the fine lines. Or if you can get a option for one with horizontal stadia lines for calculating drops even better for long range...

    I do not think they offer the fine plex in the scope you mentioned. Their website says Plex and ballistic plex for the 4.5-14X42

    I have the Burris Sig select 4-16X44 with the Ballistic Plex reticle and have been very happy with it. I have not shot any prairie dogs with it, but I do shoot out to 500 yds and have not had any issues with the reticle covering my targets.

    If you have a laser rangefinder, get the finest CH you can as long as the scope adjustments are working properly so you can dial in.

    Otherwise get a MilDot scope and learn to use it.

    Those boogers are TINY past 300 yards
