WASR-10 AK-47 & WASR-10/63 differences
I've been researching the AK-47 rifle. I've read a few articles and viewed a few videos where the owner, or former owner if they sold it for being unsatisfactory, claimed that the Romanian WASR-10 AK-47 is a "hit and miss" with quality and accuracy. One person stated - and it's probably an exaggeration - that 1 in 10 are spot on accurate with a 5 and under MOA. Now, I've noticed there are a few WASR-10 variants: WASR-10C, WASR-10/63, WASR-10/63SFP, & WASR-10/63FPG. I've also come across an AKM-V (or is it 'AK-MV'?). So, are any of the aforementioned any more accurate? Are they updated models of the ol' WASR-10?

WASR10, is an even cheaper built version of the romanain PM-63 AK built for export.. they still use chrome lined barrels, but the reciever is cheaper then the older SAR rifles. The newer WASR10 comes with Tapco no slap triggers, which are slightly better then the ones found in SARs. Canted front sights and gas tubes are even more of a problem with WASR-10s then was seen with SAR rifles.
WASR10/63, has better front trunion support then the wasr10, but is otherwise the same.
Those are the basic variants.
the letters after the model #s denote the type of stock, furniture ect that the rifle comes with.
I'd tell you to either buy a SAR-1, GP1975, or IO inc STG-2000c, rather then buy either WASR.0
