Glock - 3rd or 4th Gen
I went to
http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=412093
a link I found in a post here to get the DOM of what Glocks I own.
I also found a post somewhere that talks about the combination of the "loaded cartrige indicator" along with the finger grips being 4th generation.
So I have (3) pistols that are shown as 3rd gen in the listing, and have this indicator (which is just a small block that sticks out in front of the extractor.
I also tried another site where you enter your serial number, but it didn't function.
So, do I have gen 3 or 4's?
This listing says they are all gen 3's (the letters after the model are the first (3) s/n letters.
G17 - HUZ - G-17 - February 2006 - 3rd Gen
G27 - HNA - 3rd gen finger grip (couldn't find in list)
G36 - KLR - G-36 - September 2006 - 3rd Gen
Anyone know? (Glocktalk lets me log on, but not post for some reason)
Thanks.

Must be gen 3's as I see that the gen 4's seem to start the beginning of this year 2010.
So what is the change in the gen 4?0 -
Here is the post about the bump on the gen 4 for the "loaded cartidge indicator"

Here is a link to some of the changes for the gen 4:

Still happy with both the gen 2 and 3's I own. No problems ever. 0
