what do you think of this browning citori model? quality? price? value?

    traded a couple of new rem. 1100 for a new browning citori 12ga. anyone know anything about these gun's It's a lighting with screw in choke's.Are just a field grade or higher grade gun seem's to be a pretty nice gun. thank's for any help.

    I love the Citori, I envy you having two. [:D] but the stocks may not match up perfectly. It may require some wood working to get a good fit from one receiver to the other.

    Nothing against a Citori, I've had one for 20+ years. IMHO, go to the Browning Custom Catalog and order yourself a B25 the way you want it. Oh, it'll cost more than two Citori's, but, it will be what you want it to be.

    Buy the "fancy receiver" and than send the "plain" wood out to be duplicated in some AA-Fancy Claro Walnut.
    For display put on your "show wood", for hard use put on your "plain wood"

    I'm with Tailgunner here.

    If you're willing to spend $500 on the project, why not just get a nice custom stock made?

    Do that and you can have the stock custom fitted to you at the same time.

    If you want something REALLY nice, this will probably cost you more than $500, but then you'll have the gun the exact way you want it.
