How Do I Date a High Power??

TO THE FLOOR
Hi:

I just bought a browning hi-power and would like to figure out the production date. I found a way to date Rugers on their website but can't find anything on the browning website. Serial number is 73C694xx. Would that make it a 73?? Thanks in advance.

    If you want to date them,, ask them out and be done with it,,its a yes or no..

    YES it would be a 1973 manufacture. mine starts with 69C and it dates to 1969.

    73 was a good year for them. They have some of the best finishing jobs, and are accurate too.
