Hoppe's #9 take two

He Dog
Can't stand the stuff, hate the odor (unAmerican, I know). I use a variety of things, including Butch'e Bore Shine and Gunzilla, also the foam stuff JustC likes, Wipe Out. Never, ever, at any time, in any place do I use Hoppe's.

I also use Weapon Shield dry lube.

    That,s a big 10-4 on the Butches Boreshine . It's been a long time since I used any Hoppes

    When I was dating . I would buy Fancy empty Perfume bottles and fill with No. 9 to give to my current girl friend for either her Birthday or Christmas If she did not like the smell I would break up shortly thereafter.[:(]When I found the first one that SAID she liked the smell I asked her to marry me. That was 39 years ago[^]still married to her. She never wore it as Perfume as far as I know but she did have the correct answer for the gift. The first time I used it to clean guns she came into the den looked around but never said anything [:I]. A man is lucky to find a woman that knows when to ask questions and when to let a sleeping dog lay. [:D]

    Perry...that is WAY BAD!!!!

    But...I like it![:D][:D][:D]

    You know...if she still has those bottles, it would probably work better than pepper spray for an unsuspecting thug...hehehehe

    i would'nt use it to clean a firearm. has anyone tried to drink it?

    #9? Not me, there are so many other fine flavors out there, starting with Meyer's dark.
