Browning BLR .44 mag

Great shape plus 100 rounds for $450 locally. Dont really need it but dont want to pass it over either.
Plus I dont have a itchin for anything else now.

    Are you sure it's a BLR? Use to have a Browning in .44 MAG that was a replica of a Winchester Model 92, made in Japan. The BLR's were a completely different type of rifle. They had a box magazine in front of the trigger guard.

    Yeah its not a BLR and its made in Japan so about $450 over priced in my book. If you need a good 44 lever get a Marlin or Winchester.

    No, it is a steal. The new Model 92's from the same maker with the Winchester label are over 1K, then some. That is a steal, and one heck of a rifle.

    They are made by Miroku in Japan, and are extremely well made. Browning is Winchester's sister company, under the FN USA label now days.

    Once you have it in your hands and shoot it, you will say man...I'm glad I didn't pass on this.

    Your right its a B92. I looked it over quickly and assumed
    Browning:check, Lever action:check = BLR
    But I do remember seeing B92.

    Asking price for Browning 92's on the auction side start in the $800 range, so $450 is a steal. I bought one in the early 80's and I believe I paid around $350 for it new. I often shoot it next to some of my pre war Winchester 92's and 94's and there is no appreciable drop off in quality that I can notice. They are as good a clone as you can get for the old Winchester 92 IMO.
