I was at the local shooting quarry yesterday when a truck drove up. The fellow asked me if I had seen his friend. I said no as I had been there for over an hour. He had just bought a very used Lyman replica Remington C&B & his friend was to instruct him in its use. The guy was very excited about his purchase. He gave $250 for it. Mechanically it was in good shape but the finish was all gone & one side of the cylinder was pitted like it had been stored on something wet. I didn't have the heart to tell him that he had paid way too much for the gun. We talked a little & he left smiling. E.Z.

  I just bought an Uberti one a few weeks ago.
