seating bullets over pellets

When you seat the bullet over powder pellets, do you seat them hard enough to crush the pellets, or just snug them up?

  I've never seated hard enough to crush the pellets. I push the bullet or ball until it stops then a couple of light taps to ensure it is seated firmly against the powder.

  Most instruction manuals will stipulate that you are NOT to crush the powder. You'll feel when it's snug. Don't go further.

  If you try to crush the pellets your going to deform the ball, or maxi, it'll affect your accuracy.

  CVA Electra DOES want you to push hard enough to have the Spark Gap pushed into the bottommost Pellet.
