    How much did you bid? I don't think they are junk, but not the same quality as a military contract weapon.

    from what i have herd they are better than the universals. I believe the are made from surplus military parts and will interchange with the military parts obviously. Worse come to worse rebuild it with better GI parts!

    nat ord were the first to make casted reciver for carbine and the 1903 type guns..not my first choice but will have to see how it runs

    It may turn out to be OK; at least you have 3 days to return it, although that will cost you $30.

    With a commercial gun with unknown history, it would be a good idea for you to have a gunsmith do a "technical inspection" before you fire it (cost: $50-100). You will want to have him install a new rear sight ($50+). So, you will be well into it before you fire a shot.

    Hope you didn't bid original War gun price, if it stays at 430 you might be on the very top side of okay in My book, but I am no expert just saying mine is a fun little plinker that's all............O and pay attn to the Safety issues on the link[:)]
