Remington VS Weatherby
I saw this brand new at a local store for $1080 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=167210970
Should I buy that or spend a few more $$ and buy a used weatherby like this http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=167121160
Thanks

...and a better gun than either of the above!
The Weatherby shotguns used to have a bretty bad reputation of problems. I like and own several Weatherby rifles, so not bashing the name.0 -
I own a Weatherby Athena III 12 ga. They were made by SKB in Japan, now in Italy by Fausti. I have owned CZ's, Brownings, Winchesters, Remingtons and Berettas and the Weatherby Athena, in my opinion, stands way above any of those in my experience. It has never given me a problem, shoots to point of aim and gives great shot patterns.

Do yourself a favor and get neither. Get yourself a Browning citori, Winchester Select Energy, or a Beretta. They are worth the extra, and will retain their value better.
