1970 Belguim Made Browning Light 12 GA

I cant seem to find too many of these for sale or auction, so I was wondering if this particular model/year has something specialabout it. Can you can tell me anything about its worth. The shotgun is in good condition. I am going to try and post some pics of the gun once I figure out how.

There should be plenty on the auction. It is a great shotgun and the worth is all in the condition. There were a lot of them sold in 1970. 0 -
I bought one new in 1970, a Light 12 12 gauge with 28" Vent rib modified-choke barrel. I also bought a Light 20 at about the same time; both Belgian, both excellent in fit and finish and operation. I foolishly traded off the Light 12 over the years, when i decided I needed a Trap gun and didn't have all the money for one; I still have, and will never relinquish, but pass on to one of the Grandsons, the Light 20. After he learns to appreciate it! They are/were fine shotguns. 0 -

"Pretty good shape" covers a lot of ground, but I would think it a good deal. Look for cracks in fore end before you buy. 0 -
the browning is an excellent shotgun. if you purchase it be sure you know how the recoil system functions. if the recoil rings are not positioned properly the gun will not function correctly, and can be damaged. 0 -
