OK, Any one making a 10mm carbine that can be purchased in the USA? [:)] I spoke to Oly Arms. They did not have any uppers on the shelf and had zero magazines. I am looking for both a rifle and magazines.

    gap1916,

Somehow I can't get past the feeling that this is a 'loaded' question and there is more to this than you are telling us. The Olympic Arms carbine is readily available and searchable.

    Olympic Arms, Inc.

    K10 - Pistol Cal 10mm

    (MSRP $1006.20)

This an article which covers several design points and changes. There is also an article within it from a magazine:

    Best.

The 10mm is really a modern straight cased 38-40.
A lever carbine will give you the same thing.
Extended magazines are too much of a problem for the idea while the 40 cal Keltec Sub 2000 pretty much gets you there and mags aren't an issue.

Gap, I know you said currently, but I do remember that swomeone was converting M1 Carbines to 10mm back in the 90's. If you can't find one, it would be an interesting project.

well, I have seen .41AE conversions for uzis, Not exactly current manufactured, But You can still find them new from time to time.

Not sure If you could convert a victor clone, or If you'ed need an original IMI uzi. Noy quite up to par with 10mm, but I think it can be loaded pretty hot...

Not really. The 10MM Norma is a lot more than the 38-40, and the 40 S&W, when loaded to its full designed potential, and not the squib loads that mimmic the previous two listed loads. The 10MM when loaded to its potential is in the 41 Magnum class.

There are some 10mm Tommy guns from Auto Ordinance out there if that is any help. In 1991 I wrestled with the idea of getting one over the .45 acp version until I finally settled on authenticity of caliber. The last time I saw any of them for sale they were a little bit on the expensive side BUT were available.
