7.65 MAS Ammo (rufe-snow/tailgunner1954)

I have a partial box (30 of 32)of 7.65 MAS ammunition that I am going to put on auction side and need advice on. Do you think I would be better off selling one round at a time to collectors or sell all at once. I do not know how collectible this is.

  I don't pay close attention to collecting anything or their values but we have several members who stay right on top of such things. Sometimes they are busy and don't get here as often as we would like in order to sample their expertise.
  
  I suggest e-mailing 'rufe-snow' or 'Tailgunner1954' to see if they have some guidance or wisdom that they can offer.

  My guess is you would do best by selling them individually as collector cartridges. These might go for $2.50 to $3.00 (at the most) per cartridge but will take more time to sell. Otherwise, sell the partial box as a lot with a mid-way price which would be attractive to either a shooter or collector.
  
  The best option by far would be selling an unopened full box to a collector, but this isn't possible, because the box in question is opened and is missing two rounds. I have heard of such boxes going as high as $80.00.
  
  There are several companies which now either custom manufacture or sell components to reload the 7.65 MAS. I have seen custom made lots of 7.65 MAS sell for $30.00 per 50 rounds.
  
  While the 7.65 MAS is an interesting cartridge it was only manufactured at two arsenals - one in France (as mentioned - VE) and one in Viet Nam. "FY" is the manufacturer for the steel case. For a collector, it is neither rare nor scarce, thus there is not much premium for these as collector rounds either.
