I have a Rockola M1 Carbine with the barrel stamped.

    I was wondering if anyone knew a left handed saftey lever is avalible for the M1 Carbine or if its possible for the existing lever to be fliped around so it can be better opperated by a left-handed shooter.

    Inland is the most common of all the carbines made for the war effort of the 9 companies that made them. A 4 digit serial number would make it a very early gun.

    Pictures would help. If it has Korean writing on it, that means it has been imported back into the US and would probably have the importers name stamped on the barrel.

    hard to guess without pics...can't buy the 4 digit serial number...low wood,high wood,what importer mark is on the barrel(probably on the bottom)blue sky? is the bolt round? what color is the oiler? marking inside where the sling goes? ballpark guess 675.00$700.00...

    The carbines with the Korean markings on the stock were imported within the last 10-15 years, & are generally abused & worn out. Of course, anyone can change stocks, so, without details or photos, we have no idea what you have.

    It sounds like you do not have the experience necessary to evaluate it's condition, as "bore is 95%" is meaningless. We need to know the muzzle condition, as measured with a muzzle wear gauge. If it needs a new barrel, it is worth, at most, $300. At worst, the receiver could be bad, & it could be worth nothing.

    In any case, you need to have a technical inspection by a qualified gunsmith before firing it.
