Colt AR15 Delta????????

I have a preban A2 match HBAR colt. I suspect that it could be the Delta model......how can I tell?

I also understand that the Delta guns were hand selected for accuracy......??

  Colt Delta models came with a 3-9x scope & cheekpiece.
  
  Your rifle is

  exactly whatever is stamped on the lower receiver.
  
  You understand wrong; Colt model names & numbers are based on the configuration specified. If a specific rifle is test fired & fails to meet specifications, it will be reworked or scrapped.
