i have a problem with shells ejecting in my remington 591 5mm magnum
any ideas

  So it extracts they but does not eject them....

  yes the shell gets stuck in the barrell

  Agree with "fordsix". Have you had any work done to the rifle? Parkerizing or blueing? Check the chamber for roughness. Give it a good cleaning IF your extractor is not broken - or even if it is not...
