1100 G3 Barrel question

Hello,
I have the opportunity to buy a Remington 1100 G3 at a reasonable price. The shotgun has a 26" barrel. My question is this....do regular (read older) model 1100 barrels work on this gun?

  When in doubt about interchangeability of gun parts the default answer is no.

  Check with Remington..Their tech people are very helpful....
