Opinions on 9mm Subcompact Pistols
How do you like your 9MM subcompact?
I'm think of a XD 9MM subcompact or one of the new Taurus's?, or maybe an old S&W 9MM subcompact at a smaller price.

Check out the KelTec PF 9 or the high capacity P 11. Probably the best value for the money out their. They been making the P 11 since the mid 90's, with hundreds of thousands made since then. 0 -
I have a Beretta 9000 in 9MM that I like alot. 10 or 12 round mags are available and you can use Model 92 mags with a spacer. Works like the 92 and is accurate and reliable. 0 -
Out of the ones you listed I'd go with the XD, with night sights.. 0 -
I really like my 9MM Kahr PM9 0 -
I rank the HK P2000sk the highest. It has no flaws.
Other very good ones are the;
Kahr series, especially the K9
S&W 39 series
Glocks
M&P
Sig P239
HK P7, USPc
XDs
They are all competent, well made and reliable.0 -
I don't go anywhere without my stainless Springfield X-9 subcompact. I love it.

I like both my XD40SC and my Kel Tec P11. The Kel Tec is easier to conceal and cheaper. The XD is easier to shoot, more accurate, and quicker to get back on target because of very controllable recoil. And that is comparing a 9mm to a .40. Hope that helped. 0 -
I'm with Spider on the XD-9SC. I also have a PF-9. The PF-9 is smaller but the XD-9SC shoots better. I can take the XD-9SC to the range and shoot a 100 rounds no problem. The PF-9 is not a range gun. After 2 or 3 magazines I am ready to put it back in the range bag. Easy to carry but not very pleasant to shoot. 0 -
Avoid the Taurus. 0 -
I have a Kahr Mk9 and a Springfield EMP. Each has very little recoil. I think the Kahr is the better of the two for CCW because it's DA only and smaller, but the EMP is lighter and overall better made, it's of course the typical 1911 style set up. The Kahr PM9 is the same as the MK, but poly framed and lighter. I think the Kahrs are about the best little 9s out there. 0
