Tipping Shooting Instructors

Is it customary to tip a shooting instructor? Taking shotgun shooting lessons, he is an independent level III shooting instructor, lessons are about $90 each. Thoughts??

  No. He is a professional & would likely be insulted. Why is everyone so anxious to throw money away? Now please send me a tip.

  I usually give my doc a big tip after the proctology exam.
