Colt 38 Super ballpark?

I just happened on a real nice Colt Combat Commander 38 Super. 70 series, satin nickel, Colt Ivory grips(excellent), original box (rough), in fired approx 95% condition. Any ballpark value ideas?

  Without a pic $600-$700--the satin nickel model is supposedly rare.

  The Series 70 Colt 38 Supers I'm seeing, Gov or Commander models, in true 95% condition with box are in the $1000+ range. If the grips are truly ivory add another $300; probably more if they're Colt factory. The Blue Book says the satin nickel finish is rare, and maybe it is in 38 Super, but there seem to be quite a few of them in 45 ACP. Would like to see good, clear, close up pictures.

  IF the grips are real ivory they are worth @ 250 USD or so. Figure another 600-800 for the pistol based on specifics of grading.

  Satin nickel is definitely not "rare".
  
  Colt ivory is though.
