The 10-22 magnum is no longer made. They made them on a steel frame and mine has been great. Both guns you mention are going to run a little higher as they are not readily available. Magnum reasearch makes a 10-22 mag copy. Marlin also makes nice bolt action 22 mags and they might even have a couple of auto loaders in the line.

I would recommend the CZ options. They are probably making the most accurate rimfires right now at a reasonable price.

I'd look at the Savage series, specifically the 93 BTV (blued) or BTVSS (stainless).

The 10/22 as mentioned is no longer made, is somewhat collectable, and fairly expensive. You can get the "same" gun from Magnum Research, but it is still kinda costly.

Get the Savage, use your savings on good glass.

The new Sako rimfire rifles are really good.

I will second what Mooseyard says. I have a CZ 452 ZKM entry level rifle, and a 453 17 HMR varmint. They are both tack driver's. The Ruger 77/22MAgnum, can be made into a real fine shooter too, but then it will have a lot more into it than the CZ.

    Best

    EDIT 1

FWIW, the Magnum Research rifles are somewhat unreliable, and have functioning flaws from personal experience, in the Magnum chamberings. Tho only mfg. that has the semi-auto 22 WMR rifle down pat is Volquartsen. The Henry's reciever's are made of pot metal, and I have seen one in 17HMR that came apart...a Goldenboy version.

If you want a semi auto, Magnum Research makes a great rifle, but they are over $500!

If you like the Winchester 9422M, get a Henry for a fraction of the price.

I think Volquartson custom still offers 10-22 magnums built on its own Ruger-clone frames, and I think you can still just buy the frame if you like. These are NOT cheap!

Ruger 10-22 magnums are available used, but they were never made in large quantity, and they are desirable (ie EXPENSIVE).

I can't remember the exact details, but Ruger discontinued the 10-22 magnums because of either reliability or wear issues.

    Personally, I'd stick to a nice bolt-action.
