Handgun Value / Information

I have a gun collection that I put together about 25 years ago and am hoping that someone could give me the present value of them. I don't have a lot of information listed about them and if you need more, please let me know. I have 1 handgun that is a .22 center fire, folding trigger with no markings on it what so ever. The only stamp on it a a 3 digit serial number. I will post a picture of it soon. One of the guns I have in particular I would be very interested in what the value would be worth. It was given to a park warden in 1942 by the R.C.M.P., and was told it was for, "just in case". I bought it from his son and he told me that his father never fired it. I have the original box and documentation that came with it.     Hey Mark,
    We will need more info and the link you give goes to a general page with some thumbnail pics of several pistols. You could best do some research and peruse or buy a value book.
    For start take digital images of each and document details of each gun on your pc picture files. Do google searchs for baseline information then post for added info...

    Ref: Folding trigger, 22 Centerfire- High likelihood that you have a European revolver in caliber .22 Velo Dog. They were made by the thousands in Belgium around 1900 by multiple makers. If you run a Google IMAGE search for "velo dog" you might see one that looks like yours.

    Your refinished Erfurt Luger would probably sell in the $600-900 range in the US.

    Wow, your good. No picture and little information required. I googled "velo dog" and that is exactly what it is. I will put some pictures up today. Thanx alot!

    You need to click on one of the thumbnails to get larger pictures. You can then zoom in real close. I have been researching them. But I am sure you understand that the price range is very wide depending on many factors. Take the Erfurt for example. There are many Lugers on different sites where the price range goes from $500 to $3500. I am sure there are some collectors here that could narrow it down a bit. What I am looking for is if it is worth between $500-$800 or $2500- $3000.
