NRA Target Questons

I'm looking at getting the NRA Marksmanship program started at our local club and I'm wondering if someone can tell me the difference between a 23, 23/3 and a 23/5 target. Are these all interchangeable? None of the websites that the NRA lists for purchasing targets show you what they look like.

  Same bullseye, just different number of them on the target page. The "S" target is for sighting in your gun:

  Does anyone know the if there are any differences between the A23 bull and the A27 bull? They both have 3 7/8" black. Are the rings the same diameter? How big are the X and 10-rings, for instance?

  If you go to the above website you will see both. The scoring is different from the a23 and the a27. A center bullseye is still a "10",
  but as you get father out you "score" less on the a27. Just are the edge
  of the black would be a 6 on one and a 7 on the other.
  If I remember....the a27 was for meters so it was reduced in size. Bob
