Remington 1100 16 ga.

I have the chance to buy an 1100 in 16 ga. I am buying from the original owner who bought it about 40 years ago. It is in excellent conditon. I am told that the 16 ga. is rare.

Is the 16 ga. rare, and would anyone give me a good idea of a fair price?

  Check GUNBROKER "completed auctions" I think you'll find the prices a little higher than $400....
