SEARS Headstamp
Was sorting some of my old brass today and came upon a 30-06 piece with the following headstamp:
"SEARS 30-06 SPRG"
Wt. is 189 grains. Other than the headstamp nothing to disinguish it from any other '06 brass.
Anyone know who made brass for Sears, and when? Calibers? Other info?

Probably lowest bidder.
That being said, I purchased a bunch of Winchester test fire brass from the 80's, which had some "Sears" brass mixed in.0 -
In Sears heyday they sold everything under the J C Higgens label. Usually like the last post indicated any decent vendor to meet a certain spec with low bid could have made it. 0 -
I found a Sears headstamp in some 243 Win I bought last fall. 0
