Remington 722/700 aperture sight
Was there any rear aperture sights manufactured made for Rem722/700 that bolts to existing
scope base holes in receiver?

You'll have to do a little reading but there are some models available. I'm nowhere near my actions right now but the M722 and the M700 should have the same hole spacing. I'm sure someone will correct me if that's not absolutely certain.

As Nononsense recommends, the Lyman 57 series is WJS and fits the Rem model 660, 700, 721 and 722 (along with Win 70 & SAV 110). I have one on a Win mod 70 and like it much better than others I have tried. 0 -
Williams also makes their Guide series of peep sight which mount on the rear bridge scope base screw holes . 0 -
