Spanish sidelock trouble removing stock
I have taken the side panels off and the rear screw for the trigger guard. The stock wont budge. Did I miss a screw? are they always this hard to get off? Can I tap it with a hammer? There is a brass insert on the bottom of the stock. Does this hide a screw that I need to remove?
Thanks

Did you remove the screw under the top lever? 0 -
Top Lever? I removed a screw under the trigger guard do you mean the lever you push to open the action? 0 -
BE VERY CAREFUL. The inletting of the action for a side lock gun is very fragile Take some close up in focus pictures from both sides and top and bottom. Like a surgeon FIRST DO NO HARM you will never get another stock if you break part of this one. 0 -

Yes the one under the lever that opens up the gun.0 -
yes I just got that and now it feels loose. There is a screw under the receiver that seems to hold the trigger assembly into the gun. Do I also remove that? 0 -
