  Thanks for the info..reason I asked is I was at a gun show in Pa. recently..guy had only Pre 70's wanted 25 bucks ($2500)for a 257 Roberts..gun was nice, clover..forget what year..he thought it was rare...in today's market, is that 300 Savage still bringing the "big bucks"? How bout the varmit stuff..Swift etc...personally I like the 264!

  Swifts burn out quick so be careful. 300 sav will still do big $$. .257 bobs come up pretty regularly here on GB..I think they made around 15k.
