A-Bolt
I am looking to buy a used A-bolt in .22 lr. I am not familiar with the model family. The one I am looking at is bright blue, with gloss wood. Approx 50 - 100 rounds fired, with wood and blueing at 100%. Not sure if it had iron sights. How is the accuracy, and reliability? The asking price is $500. This does not include the box.

What is the considered opinion of the Browning A-Bolt??? Accuracy, fit finish. I just acquired a Medallion, in an 06, and I could get used to the 60 degree bolt throw. THX in advance, HAWKSHAW 0 -
Donna,
Do a search on here, there are several topics on them. I own several, and the only one I got rid of is that DAMN 300 RUM I got last year. There wasn't many of them made in that cal., and this was the stainless synthetic model. Kicked like a mule, even with the Simms pad on. I will say it was a shooter though. Actually all of them I have are shooter's.

The a-Bolt is Made in Japan, I've never understood how anyone could own one when there are so many well made bolt rifles Made in the USA. 0 -
Well...You have to try one to see just how well the US made do compare. After you do that, you will realize that the Big US companies have sold us out for the most part. Tikka, CZ, Browning, and a couple others just blow away most of the US competition for value. That does include Remington,Ruger, and Winchester.
