Put that exact one on the wife's 870 20 ga. She absolutely loves it. Been on for 3rd. year now. It has held zero dead on from the original setting, haven't adjusted a thing. The recoil has not harmed it at all,and this is her deer slug gun. Yes, would reccomend this product for sure.[:)][:)][:)]

Tru-Glo fiber optic sights good. Red dot NOOOOOO!

    I put this one on a Para P14 w/comp:

The first time out at the range, the battery case (and battery) came off and hit me in the forehead. This happened every other shot. I got a replacement, and cracked the lens the first time out with it. On that model, the lens was in crooked and had a very poor zero.

The crosshair recticle was crooked in the picture as well.

I will give Tru-Glo credit, that they stood behind thier crappy product, and were good about replacing the two sights. It was pretty obvious that these couldn't handle a 45, so I moved it to a 22lr, but eventually took it off because the iron sights were better. It sits in a drawer now.

I suspect Tru-Glo just purchases these from China, and that all the cheapo red dot sights are the same story. Pay the extra cash for a C-more (which has worked perfectly on my 45 & I love it). I'm sure there are a lot of other good red dots, but the C-more seemed like the least expensive of the good ones.
