any remington 700 experts?

    I had one years ago with a bull barrel. I believe it was a 700 Varmint. Stocks, etc have changed a lot over the years. Got any pics? Look at the STICKY above for Serial number DOM reference sources . You may be able to find out the year by manufacturer date and go from there.

    thanks, I saw those...both are 24" not 26"

    I cant figure out that system..the barrel has a bw the ser # is prefixed witrh an e..the stock isbasically a bdl wood stock slight monte carlo..thanks again for any help

    Unless it was a special order for a distributor, I don't believe that Remington made a 26" Varmint Special, they were all 24", and based on short action rounds.
