Regarding a 1980 version that is pinned & recessed in 4"...with all things equal...which is worth more...Nickel or Blued? And about how much? THANKS!!!

  Is it possible to find just the frame for a model 57? I have the rest of the parts. Okie joe

  Original Factory Nickel would be worth more, as the blue are much more common. Value would depend on originality and cosmetic condition. Need quality photos for accurate assessment of value.

  what rufe said. if both lin equal condition the nickel should be 10 to 15% more. You can usually only get the extra % if gun is 98 to 100% and with the box. In shooting condition most people don't care.
