A rifle question about the Blaser
Has anybody Shot a Blaser rifle enough to know its strengths and weaknesses?
Are they capable of the accuracy found in traditional bolt action rifles? The prices they go for preclude most of us from buying one to plink with. [:0] There must be something very special about them to sell for the kind of money they ask for them.

I've fired ONE, and it was from a bench in .300 Win mag, so I wasn't inclined to put a lot of rounds through it!
Gun itself was VERY nice. Great trigger, smooth straight pull action.
Didn't try to group it for accuracy, but they're supposedly very accurate.
In terms of "very special", that's in the eye of the beholder. The ability to switch calibers is highly prized in Europe, where getting *ANY* gun can be a nightmare of fees, paperwork, and waiting. One gun that lets you switch calibers is a huge boon.
Is a Mercedes really worth 3x as much as a Buick?
Is a Rolex really worth 30x as much as a Citizen?
Some people will pay more for the "best", even if the "best" really isn't all that much better in terms of function.0
