I've shot it on sporting clay range with good results, Stayed right at my average with AA's. When reloading they don't seam to hold a primer very well.

I have shot many cases of the Rio's at the skeet range. they are just fine but I don't reload so I don't know for sure. I do know that the people that do reload never pick up their emptys.

Have used them in 410 and 28 gauge with good results. Very economical in the small gauges compared to the big names.

Rio primers are about .003 bigger than Winch. That is probably why they didnt hold a primer well, you werent using Rio primers. I bought 3000 Rio primers because they were about ten bucks cheaper. They work well, but I separate the hulls because of the difference in size. If you do not reload again with Rio primers you have the poor fit problem.
