Powder for tracers

Looking for suggested powders for .223 and .30 cal tracer reloads. I've heard several stories about having the "correct" powder to help light the tracer. .30 cal will be shot in M1 Garand as well as other .30-06 and .308 rifles. .223 will be shot in AR15 as well as bolt action rifles and Encore.

  The military loads for the 30-06 is 50grs. of IMR 4895
  7.62X51 is 46grs. of WC 846
  For the 223 use a stick powder load for a 55gr.
