Mystery Rifle - 2
Maker, Model, approximate value? I have no idea what this one is. The only stamping I can find is an eagle and WP next to it. Also stamped on the sight. 8 9, below that 7,6 and below that 4,5.

It is some sort of military surplus rifle musket that has been cut down into a hunting gun. Kind of like all the later surplus rifles that have been sporterized.
I am away from my references and cannot tell whose surplus it is.
Period is US Civil War or a bit earlier.0 -
I believe this is the site stating the eagle is from the Hungarian military. The other site for the other gun specifically had that mark, I THINK. 0
